Study of Dentistry at the Charite (Humboldt-University of Berlin) 1989- 1994, PhD 1995-1997, and Public Dissertation 1997, Immunology (Magna Cum Laude),
Postgraduate Education and Training in:

Fixed and removable orthodontics from 1997 onwards.
Simple and complex implant and bone grafting procedures from 1997 onwards.
Vocational Training for (obligatory) 2 years in Berlin. 5 years Co-owner of Practice in Berlin. 2 years 24-hour emergency clinic in Berlin. Moved to the UK in 2004 and worked in Taunton, Newquay, Liskeard and now St Columb Major.

Ms Merin Raj

Dentist (awaiting ORE exam), Dental Therapist and Hygienist, GDC 313535
Merin Raj is a skilled dental professional who embarked on her journey to crafting beautiful smiles with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree, earned in 2020 from India. For two years, she honed her craft in her home country, delighting patients with her gentle touch and dedication to oral health.
Expanding her academic pursuits, Merin obtained a Master’s degree in Health Service Management from the University of Chester.
She now serves as a valued member of the Dental World team as a Dental Therapist-Dental Hygienist. Her patients consistently praise her kind demeanour and unwavering commitment to their well-being. Focusing on preventative and restorative care, Merin skilfully tends to the dental needs of patients of all ages, guiding them towards a lifetime of healthy smiles.
Merin is diligently preparing for the UK dental registration exam and aspires to expand her practice within the clinic as a dentist. Beyond her professional pursuits, Merin finds solace and inspiration in painting, photography, reading, and travelling.

Rebecca Harrison, Dental Nurse, Practice Manager, RDN GDC 116373

Becky is a Qualified Dental Nurse with over 20 years of experience. After owning a Convenience Store and Post Office for years, Becky has decided to return to Dentistry and become our Practice Manager. She is happy, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable, with a welcoming smile when you attend the practice.

In her spare time, Becky loves to go to the beach with her boys, body-surfing, and spending time with her family. Becky can also be a bit of an adrenaline junkie, having done a Bungee Jump, Skydive, Trekking in the Himalaya’s and Trekking parts of The Great Wall of China, she is hoping EBC will be her next adventure.

Dental Nurses

Minty Sripang, Lead Nurse/Clinical Manager, RDN GDC 253239

Minty is an incredibly dedicated, passionate and skilled Dental Nurse with 20 years of her extensive experience in providing compassion-based, patient-focused optimal care in General Practice, followed by a period in the Oral Surgery Department of the RCH in Truro. She has a wealth of experience and is particularly well-versed in Oral Surgery and Orthodontic assistance, along with her qualifications in Dental Radiograph and further qualifications such as Suture Removal, 3D Scanning, Impression Taking.

Her journey from Thailand to England in 2000 and her academic achievements, including a BA (Hons) Degree from Falmouth University in 2007 and the National Diploma in Dental Nursing from NEBDN in 2014, highlight her commitment to her profession.

It’s lovely to hear that she also values quality time with her family outside of her busy work schedule.

Natalie Rowe

Natalie is our Trainee Dental Nurse who is currently studying to gain her national Diploma in Dental Nursing NEBDN. In her spare time Natalie is kept very busy with her twin girls and younger daughter. They enjoy spending family time together at the beach and exploring beautiful Cornwall.
