Postgraduate Education and Training in:

Fixed and removable orthodontics from 1997 onwards.
Simple and complex implant and bone grafting procedures from 1997 onwards.
Vocational Training for (obligatory) 2 years in Berlin. 5 years Co-owner of Practice in Berlin. 2 years 24-hour emergency clinic in Berlin. Moved to the UK in 2004 and worked in Taunton, Newquay, Liskeard and now St Columb Major.

Dr Merin Raj

Dentist (awaiting GDC Registration after ORE exam), Dental Therapist and Hygienist, GDC 313535
Merin Raj is a skilled dental professional who embarked on her journey to crafting beautiful smiles with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree, earned in 2020 from India. For two years, she honed her craft in her home country, delighting patients with her gentle touch and dedication to oral health.
Expanding her academic pursuits, Merin obtained a Master’s degree in Health Service Management from the University of Chester.
She now serves as a valued member of the Dental World team as a Dental Therapist-Dental Hygienist. Her patients consistently praise her kind demeanour and unwavering commitment to their well-being. Focusing on preventative and restorative care, Merin skilfully tends to the dental needs of patients of all ages, guiding them towards a lifetime of healthy smiles.
Merin is diligently preparing for the UK dental registration exam and aspires to expand her practice within the clinic as a dentist. Beyond her professional pursuits, Merin finds solace and inspiration in painting, photography, reading, and travelling.

Reception/Practice Management

Hayley Bond, Practice Manager

Shortly before graduating as a teacher, Hayley chose a different path and became a receptionist at Dental World. It quickly became clear that she had the skills to make a positive impact on the practice. Her warmth and exceptional organisational abilities are unmatched. Therefore, we are very happy that she agreed to take on the role of a Practice Manager.
Outside of work, Hayley enjoys riding her motorbike and often spends her mornings swimming or diving in the sea.

Dental Nurses

Minty Sripang, Lead Nurse/Clinical Manager, RDN GDC 253239

Minty is a dedicated, passionate, and highly skilled Dental Nurse with 20 years of experience delivering compassionate, patient-focused care in General Practice, followed by time in the Oral Surgery Department at the RCH in Truro. She brings a wealth of expertise, especially in Oral Surgery and Orthodontic assistance, and holds qualifications in Dental Radiography, Suture Removal, 3D Scanning, and Impression Taking. Her journey from Thailand to England in 2000, along with earning a BA (Hons) from Falmouth University in 2007 and the National Diploma in Dental Nursing from NEBDN in 2014, reflects her strong commitment to her profession. Outside her busy work life, she enjoys spending quality time with her family.
