Graham Cockroft BDS Bristol, DG DP(UK), GDC 57073
Graham Cockroft has now retired after 40 years of dentistry. Graham has provided outstanding NHS and Private dentistry for the last 25 years at Dental World. He has put everything into delivering the
best care for his patients and staff. He will be genuinely missed by all.

Greta is a young dentist but has already earned a lot of experience and is very popular with patients.  Her calm and friendly attitude makes her very well suited for anxious patients.

Violeta Kostova DDM, GDC 148407
Violeta about herself: I grew up in Bulgaria and gained my Dental qualification in Sofia in 1992. I moved to the UK in 2008, working in Nottingham for a year. I then moved to Cornwall and have worked locally as a general dentist ever since. I enjoy and take pride in my work as it gives me great satisfaction to help people improve their health, appearance, confidence or even lifestyle. I am passionate about flexible dentures and enjoy doing aesthetical fillings or root canals. I like working with children. I keep up to date on the latest dental transitions and constantly add to my portfolio. I visit the beautiful Cornish gardens and walk on my days off. I enjoy gardening, music, travelling to unknown places and reading.

Hygienists

Louise Jefford, Hygienist/Therapist, GDC Nr 122266
Louise is our Hygienist and also our Therapist. She is caring and knowledgeable in both these roles and has worked as part of our team for many years.

Kamima Chipongo, Hygienist/Therapist GDC Nr 248567
Kamima qualified as a Dental Therapist in 2013 from The Eastman Dental Institute in London. She has since worked in various practices in London alongside periodontal and restorative specialists and in NHS dentistry. She moved to South Wales after getting married in 2017, where she continued to build on her therapy skills and developed a passion for restorative and cosmetic dentistry. She is known for her gentle and calm approach and is experienced in treating extremely nervous patients.
Karima’s passion for dentistry is continually growing and is currently up-skilling to become a Dentist to offer her patients a wider variety of treatments. In her spare time, she enjoys travelling, reading and hiking.

Reception

Mischa Maguire Receptionist.
Mischa is our Reception Manager. She is happy, enthusiastic and knowledgeable, with a welcoming smile when you attend the practice. Mischa is also a well know local surfer and has won several competitions. She is now a Skateboarder- not in the practice, fortunately.  🙂

Dental Nurses

Kelly Duncan, RDN GDC 219593, Lead Nurse
Meticulous and an asset to the practice, Kelly works with Graham and helps with practice management. Kelly underwent Radiography training and can take X-rays. Kelly has a horse and participates in local competitions (Show Jumping, X-country, Dressage).

Minty, RDN GDC 253239
Minty worked for a few years in General Practice, followed by a period in the oral surgery department of the RCH in Truro. She is particularly experienced in oral surgery assistance and has a Radiography Certificate.

Jovi Dela Cruz, RDN GDC 299818
Jovi has already assisted in numerous dental implant and oral surgery procedures despite being a newly registered Dental Nurse. Jovi can take 3-D scans and make clear retainers in our dental laboratory.

Trainee Dental Nurses

Thuy Nguyen,
Originally from Vietnam, Thuy has qualifications in the financial sector and as an interpreter. After marrying her partner, she moved to Cornwall and started training as a Dental Nurse.
